Courtney Vasile received her Master of Arts degree in Translation and Interpretation from Swansea University in Wales, and has nearly 20 years of experience in the translation and localisation industry. She worked as an interpreter and translator for nearly 10 years before moving to the business side and becoming a Translation Project Manager for the US Federal Government. Later, Courtney moved to Global Translation and Localisation (GTL) at Medtronic, where she is now the Senior Localisation Project Manager responsible for the Diabetes Portfolio. She is also the trainer for GTL’s Writing for a Global Audience course, which educates writers on how to author content suitable for an international audience.
